Experience Level:
Best suited for the astrology-curious who have a little familiarity with the language of astrology, as well as intermediate and advanced students who want to deepen their understanding through lived experience.
If you know your Sun, Moon, and Rising signs and are ready to go deeper, you'll feel right at home. If you have a sense of these, come to the free orientation August 10 and we can decide together if you're ready. It might help to book a full reading with Amy here.

Do I need to be an astrology expert?
No. This school is designed for the astrology-curious with some foundational familiarity through intermediate and advanced students. If you know your Sun, Moon, and Rising signs and are ready to go deeper, you'll feel right at home.
What if I miss a class?
Every class is recorded, so you can catch up whenever it's convenient and revisit lessons throughout the year.
Can I attend on Zoom even if I live nearby?
Absolutely. You can attend in person in Lafayette, Colorado, join live on Zoom, or move between both throughout the year.
What will we actually do in class?
Each class blends the current astrological transits with practical chart interpretation. We'll learn new concepts, apply them to our own birth charts, ask questions, and explore how astrology is unfolding in our lives in real time.
Will I be sharing my personal life?
Only as much as you choose. Learning through your own birth chart is one of the most powerful aspects of the school, but you are always welcome to participate in whatever way feels comfortable. Amy has been teaching and facilitating groups for decades and holds a strong, professional container.
Is this predictive astrology?
No. While we'll discuss timing and transits, the focus is understanding meaningful seasons of life—not making fixed predictions. Astrology becomes a tool for perspective, self-awareness, and conscious choice.
What astrology system do you teach?
I teach Western tropical astrology, primarily using the Placidus house system. Throughout the year we'll also explore Whole Sign, Campanus, and Koch house systems when they offer helpful additional perspectives.
How much time should I expect outside of class?
There is no required homework. Optional videos, reflections, and practice activities will be available for those who want to deepen their learning, but the live classes are the heart of the experience.
Who is this school for?
This school is especially well suited for therapists, coaches, healers, helping professionals, and lifelong learners who want a psychologically grounded, intuitive approach to astrology. You do not need to work in a helping profession to join.
What is the Professional Track?
Beginning around Scorpio season, optional workshops will be offered for students interested in thoughtfully integrating astrology into coaching, consultation, spiritual direction, and other professional work. These workshops are separate and an additional cost from the core school curriculum.
Is this a long term commitment?
Yes. The school is designed as a shared journey through an entire astrological school year, August through May. Each class builds on the previous one, allowing both your understanding of astrology and your relationship with your own chart to deepen over time.
What if I've studied astrology before?
Wonderful. Many returning students find that learning astrology through real-time transits and their own lived experience transforms concepts they thought they already understood. Students with more experience often enrich the learning community with their insights while continuing to deepen their own practice.
Why study astrology in community?
Because astrology is more than information—it's a language we learn by living. One of the greatest gifts of studying together is witnessing how the same sky expresses itself uniquely in each person's chart and life. Again and again, students discover that someone else's experience helps illuminate their own.

To keep our Astrology School grounded and energetically clear, we ask all students to agree to the following Energetic Agreements. These are part of the intake process when you make your payment and commit to school. This is a chance for you to read them before committing.

Education Program Only.
I understand astrology classes and readings are for personal growth and not a substitute for professional advice. I understand this is not therapy.
Payment Agreement.
I understand I am responsible for the full monthly fee as listed at the time of enrollment. I will have 3 options to pay $125 via credit card as a monthly subscription, $120 via manual venmo payment or $985 upfront via venmo or cash.
Confidentiality.
I agree to honor the privacy of our community by keeping personal stories and chart discussions shared in class confidential.
Choice & Personal Responsibility.
I understand that sharing is always optional. I am responsible for caring for my own emotional, physical, and nervous-system needs and will participate in ways that feel supportive and sustainable.
Respectful Community.
I agree to approach our differences with curiosity, kindness, and respect. Every birth chart—and every person's lived experience—is unique.
Presence Over Performance.
I understand there is no "right" way to learn astrology. I give myself permission to ask questions, not know the answers, and learn at my own pace. I will self-regulate in real time so I can stay present to the group.
Astrology as a Language of Energy + Meaning.
I understand that astrology is offered as a symbolic language for self-understanding, reflection, and perspective rather than certainty or fixed prediction.
Recordings.
I understand that classes will be recorded for enrolled students. If I choose to participate on video or share during class, I understand my participation may appear in those recordings, which are intended only for the enrolled cohort.
Intellectual Property.
I agree that course recordings, handouts, worksheets, and original teaching materials are for my personal learning and may not be copied, shared, or redistributed without permission.
Shared Learning.
I understand that we learn through one another's questions, experiences, and birth charts. I agree to contribute to a learning environment that supports curiosity, generosity, and thoughtful dialogue.
Attendance.
I understand that while life happens, the richness of this program comes from learning together over the course of the school year. I will make every reasonable effort to attend live whenever possible.
Growth Mindset.
I understand that astrology is a lifelong practice. My goal is not to master everything at once but to cultivate a deeper relationship with myself, the sky, and the unfolding seasons of life.
Final Agreement.
I have read and agree to the Astrology School Energetic Agreements. I enter this learning community with curiosity, respect, personal responsibility, and an openness to learning alongside others.
